OC Public Works will be installing a new storm drain system and constructing sidewalks in the area to help reduce flooding and make the area safer for pedestrians. Parking in the area will be affected for the duration of the project.
WHAT
Construction activities will include excavation of trenches, laying pipe, installation of catch basins, inlets, pavement overlay, and construction of a sidewalk with an ADA-compliant curb ramp.
Area motorists and other road users may experience delays when traveling through the project area during working hours.
Your safety is our top priority!
• Traffic control measures, such as construction signage and flag personnel will be present for everyone’s safety. Drivers should expect delays.
• Please do not enter the project area and observe all safety signs, barriers, traffic devices and personnel when near the project area.
• In case of emergency, work will be halted and roadway access re-opened for emergency responders.
Parking along Barrett Lane, Fairhaven and Circula Panorama will be be impacted for the duration of the project.
