OC Public Works (OCPW) will complete a street rehabilitation road resurfacing project to provide a smoother drive and extend the service life of streets in your area. Access to residences may be limited during working hours, depending on the location of the work.
WHAT
OCPW crews will be performing work in two phases in the Las Flores service area to accommodate for winter weather conditions:
• Phase I: The North Las Flores service area.
• Phase II: Work on Oso Parkway, Antonio Parkway and the South Las Flores service area. Notifications with additional details will be sent at a later date.
Construction activity will include reconstruction, cold milling and overlaying of Las Flores residential streets followed by the reestablishing of traffic striping and pavement markings.
Temporary lane closures and parking restrictions needed. See the following important details:
• Access to residences from road may be limited during project hours due to lane closures, depending on location of work.
• Traffic control measures will be present for everyone’s safety. Drivers should expect delays.
• In case of emergency, work will be halted and roadway access re-opened for emergency responders.
• Additional notice at least 48 hours in advance will include door hangers and “No Parking” signs.
