Lane and Sidewalk Closures Needed
OC Public Works will be making improvements to the sidewalks to enhance accessibility and safety for pedestrians. Work will be completed on various streets in the Las Flores service area of unincorporated Orange County.
WHAT
Crews will be making improvements to existing curb ramps in accordance with the ADA 2010 standards to enhance accessibility and safety for pedestrians.
Work includes the removal and reconstruction of existing sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and asphalt concrete pavement.
Important details:
• Portions of the sidewalk may be temporarily closed.
• Access to residences from road may be limited during project hours depending on location of work.
Advanced notification will be provided 48 hours in advance via door knob hangar cards and “No Parking” signs.
Area motorists and other road users may experience delays when traveling through the project area during working hours. Traffic control measures, such as caution signs and flag personnel will be present for your safety.
