OC Public Works will be replacing 3,200 linear feet of existing chain link fence with 4D fencing to enhance security and reduce vandalism at key access points along the Santa Ana Gardens Channel.
WHAT
Construction activities will include removal of damaged or impaired chain link fence and gates. New 4D fencing, including pedestrian gates and vehicular gates will be installed, providing a more robust barrier that is less susceptible to damage, ensuring improved protection and safety for the area.

1. Upstream Sunflower Ave. along the west side of the channel towards Bristol St.
2. Upstream Alton Ave.
3. West side of Santa Ana Gardens Channel along Carl Thornton Park, between Segerstrom Ave. and Adams Ave., terminating at the existing wrought iron gate. Park amenities will not be disturbed during construction.
4. Upstream and downstream of Adams St.

Residents who live adjacent to the channel may experience increased noise due to project activities.
No street closures or detours are expected during construction.
