Pedestrian bridge improvements within the Wilderness Area at Mason Regional Park. Trail closures necessary.
OC Public Works will perform pedestrian bridge improvements on the remaining two bridges within the Wilderness Area at Mason Regional Park, east of Culver Drive. This work will complete the Trail Bridges Improvement Project, helping reduce flooding and improving public safety in this area. Trail closures are necessary to complete this important work and maintain public safety.
WHAT
- Crews are installing two (2) pedestrian bridges in the Wilderness Area (Bridge 4 and Bridge 5) at the locations shown below.
- Trail closures in effect at all times are necessary to accommodate these important trail improvements.
- Intermittent closures may occur along the open areas to allow for passing construction vehicles.
- Pedestrians can use open, available trails to bypass the work areas.
