OC Public Works will complete maintenance on the Harbor Blvd, Warner Ave and Slater-Segerstrom Bridges, affecting the Santa Ana River Bike Trail. Temporary lane closures will be in effect during working hours.
WHAT
OC Public Works will complete repairs to bridges as shown on the attached map. Work will include:
- Repairing damaged and chipped concrete, and applying a protective coating to the Harbor Blvd bridge
- Removing and replacing asphalt concrete on the Warner Avenue Bridge and the Slater-Segerstrom Bridge
- Cleaning bridge joints and deck drainage systems to improve water flow
- Repainting bridge identification numbers Residents living in close proximity to the flood channel will experience a temporary increase in noise, vibration and dust during working hours.
Temporary closures will be required along the bike trail for bicyclists and pedestrians. Lane closures on Harbor Blvd., Warner Ave., and Slater-Segerstrom Ave. will be in effect during work hours.
Area motorists and other road users may experience delays when traveling through the project area during working hours.
Your safety is our top priority!
- Traffic control measures, such as construction signage and flag personnel will be present for everyone’s safety. Drivers should expect delays.
- Please do not enter the project area and observe all safety signs, barriers, traffic devices and personnel when near the project area.
